The Hostel Richard is a Clean, but Cheap Paris Hostel

Posted on January 25th, 2010 by admin

Located right in the heart of the 11th district by the Place de la Republique, Hostel Richard offers you a warm welcome.

The Hostel Richard reception desk opens between 8am and 1am, but admission into the hostel after these hours will need prior notification to the hostel management, so that the reception can be adequately prepared to welcome you. The maximum number of rooms in the hotel is thirty five.

Hostel Richard does not have provision for breakfast, but fresh drinks can be made available for a cost. They also maintain a very favourable cancellation policy, a guest that chooses to cancel their booking a day before arrival will not be charged, while cancellation after or on no shows will attract some charges

Children are not allowed to stay in the hostel. This is usual with most European and Paris hostels. There is no provision for extra bedding or cots in the rooms.

There is a provision for internet browsing free of charge in the hostel business centre. There are no meal services, parking services and pets are not allowed.

Because of the closeness of hostel Richards to the major metro stations, coupled with cheap meals, it’s a good cheap Paris hotel. I wouldn’t really recommend it for families, but more for backpackers or day travellers who wish to save some money.

A quick recommendation I will give is to check Paris Cheap Hotel before you book any Paris hostel as there are featured hotels, that with a quick search, you can sometimes find amazing deals on.
